It all starts with the voter rolls! In presentations to local groups, I have a couple of slides in the presentation where I look at the voter rolls, and “hypothetical” election results both from the perspective of an honest person, and the perspective of a cheater. I talk about vulnerabilities and highlight the “sweet spot” of hypothetical “phantom names” on the rolls. What I have discussed “in theory” on those slides, (ahem before the video below came out I might add) Jeff O’Donnell has now done way better than me, and he also has more supporting data. Jeff will be adding more videos but the fact that he is doing this in 15 minutes bite size increments is also great.

What about Delawares Voter Rolls?
I am involved with a group that is trying to clean up the voter rolls. It is a GOP effort but I really don’t think cleaning rolls is a partisan issue, or doesn’t need to be. Too early for real data but I can report some early results for my specific situation. I have started researching the voter roll for my Election District (ED). I have only been through a very small sample, and I have not found every category Jeff talks about in the video but have found quite a few. My results need a little more work, so I must temper this update and start sentences with “I believe” as opposed to “I can prove”.
OK, with that disclaimer, I believe I am finding (and documenting) voters registered in DE and another state at the same time. In over ½ of these instances the “other state” is an ERIC state. I have found a voter who hasn’t voted for awhile….and appears to live out of state…..(NC) but then submitted an absentee ballot in the 2020 election and became active again. I believe I have found a person that as a result of an “in-state” move………and probably through no nefarious intent of her own ……now has two voter ID’s, each registered at a different address. She may not even know about the situation, but if I found it, do you suspect there is a cheater out there that also knows about it and has a means to exploit it? I found a property owner who has now signed an affidavit that indicates that he has been the sole occupant of his house for over 10 years. With that said, in 2020 the DOE sent an absentee ballot to a person it had registered at that DE address. The “mailing address” for that DE voter, according to the DOE was a MD address. The State of DE rolls indicate an absentee ballot was sent back and processed. The bottom line is that it only took a tiny sample from my little bitty ED to surface examples of the many categories that Jeff is shows in the video. It appears they are happening here in DE also.
So how do we fix it? If you are interested in topics like cleaning the voter rolls, or actually interested in getting involved in an effort to clean up the rolls please drop me a line at dlesher3@comcast.net Regarding the effort I am involved with you don’t need to be an expert in spreadsheet (Excel) or presentation software (Powerpoint) but at this point you should probably have a laptop, at least have some familiarity with such programs….. and be comfortable navigating the internet. No guarantees but if you have an interest let me know.
